The PediPaws Trimmer for Dogs

Monday 24 August 2009 @ 3:32 am

As you may be aware, very few dog owners can actually trim their dog’s nails.  Typically, the first bad experience a dog has with this particular type of grooming tends to set the stage for life.  Regardless of whether your veterinarian was careless, or you made a legitimate mistake, you dog is likely to become very distressed whenever it is time to clip his/her nails.  Today, you can use the PediPaws trimmer and have a second chance to perform this necessary task for your dog.

When you use the PediPaws trimmer, your dog will never see a blade cutting into the nail, let alone feel any snapping or painful sensations. At the same time, your dog’s nail surface will be smooth and comfortable to walk on.  If you’ve ever trimmed you own nails without filing them, then you can readily understand what your dog feels like when walking around on nails that haven’t been filed.  Therefore, when you use the PediPaws trimmer, you will be able to combine two tasks in one.  Instead of marching your dog to the groomer each time his/her nails need to be cut, wouldn’t you prefer to do this job at home instead?

Is it a good idea to make your own dog food?

Wednesday 19 August 2009 @ 7:09 pm

Is homemade food the healthiest in the world?

We all warmly remember Mom’s home cooking.   The fact is most of us haven’t discovered anything to compare with  the food that mother makes. Why not give your dog the same experience? Although it’s possible to make your own dog food, it is often more difficult and mess thus more challenging and rewarding than simply opening a can of food for your dog.

You may not have heard the news, but natural food has made a comeback. Today, people opt for organic dishes. The pity is that most of us get enamored with the list of vitamins displayed on the packed pet food believing  it to be the healthiest food our dogs can have. This is not completely true. Many manufacturers lie on the label!

(Natural) If you want to be confident that  your canine is eating properly, you should make your own dog food. By doing this you will have complete control over what is included in your breakfasts, lunches, and dinners. If you make the dog food yourself, you are both working on cooking skills and giving your dog a better diet.

Cooking food for your dog  will make you feel more connected to your pet. Even though you may find it silly, it’s definitely a labor of love your pet will certainly be grateful to  you for it.

No time?
Of course, the main drawback when you make your own dog food is time. In a world where everybody desires great results in an instant, who really has enough time to cook for a dog? Cooking takes time that you do not have. The solution lies in your developing the art of managing to prepare your hound’s food by yourself, without compromising on your needs and attending to your priorities,

Still and all, if you have the time to make your own dog food, go ahead and do it. Your dog is much more than a pet.
